Skiing Day Trip #3

Since being in Switzerland Phil and I have made it to the mountains just 3 times to go skiing. (Phil has gone 4 times) Busy work schedules, bad weather, and just plain laziness are to blame. However, this past weekend we spent a great day at Flumserberg, the closest ski hill to Zurich, with 3 friends. The morning started out being so cloudy that at the top of the mountain for our first run we couldn't see where the piste began! The clouds cleared up quite a bit and the day turned out to be really great. Phil and I bought skis for me at our favorite local store - Jumbo - and I took them on their first runs. They are excellent, as are my rent-to-own boots (except for the fact that they are a little big). We have a couple of KPMG-hosted ski weekends coming up in March and April and hopefully a few more of our own adventures into the mountains before the season ends. Everyone here wears helmets and we have finally given in to the pressure and ordered some for ourselves.
